How we helped this executive recruitment firm implement a reporting system that increased their profits and reduced their bad debts

We recently had the pleasure of working with an executive staff recruitment firm to help them with their accounting and bookkeeping needs. Here’s what we did for them.

The problem

Many businesses have to deal with employee turnover and in this case, it was the part-time bookkeeper that was leaving the business.

In order to keep their business running smoothly and on track, the business owners needed to find someone to take over the bookkeeping, process client invoices, do payroll, and track profitability. That’s where we stepped in.

The solution

Besides assisting them with their bookkeeping needs, we also built a tool to track billings and profit for each partner. That’s information that all business owners like to keep track of!

What was the outcome?

The biggest change was the amount of time the owners got back. Now, they had reports of client billings and outstanding payment amounts. 

This also meant that the business was able to follow up with debtors to reduce bad debts.

All that, and the owners had peace of mind knowing that their bookkeeping would suddenly leave them out in the cold one day.
