NEW RESTAURANT CASE STUDY:

How we saved a new Brisbane restaurant from insolvency by taking over their bookkeeping.

As this restaurant was in its infancy, the owner had too much on his plate to figure out all the financial issues himself. Here’s how we helped.

The problem

A new restaurant was opening in the nightlife district of Fortitude Valley in Brisbane. The owner of the restaurant had to manage all the recruiting, marketing, staffing, and more. To keep their sanity, they reached out to us to help.

The solution

After an initial interview of seeing what the client’s needs were, we were able to set up payroll and timesheet entry for the 15+ employees the restaurant had.

We were also to help the restaurant with recording sales income, preparation of creditor payments, ATO registrations, process & lodge BAS & IAS, STP reporting, and super payments.

What was the outcome?

The client was able to focus on starting his business – and all the things that come with it – instead of worrying about managing the finances.

Not only did this give the client peace of mind, but we also saved them from insolvency by helping sustain cash flow.

Additionally, with my experience in the food & beverage industry I was able to provide advice about the operations of the restaurant.
